Mary Ann Lasher Dodge graduated with distinction from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit.
After college she worked in an art studio in Detroit doing storyboards and illustration in a wide range of medium-air brush, pen and ink, watercolor, pencil , and gouache.
She has worked primarily as a free lance illustrator through agents in New York for book covers of several different genres including mystery and children's books for major publishing houses. She has also done designs for The Bradford Exchange, as well as creating a broad range of packaging illustrations.
Currently, she is still illustrating and working on her own individual style in her fine art oil paintings, including landscapes, portraiture, and still life.
Hobbies and interests include gardening, knitting, sewing and mosaic work.
